Agora Stores: from pit stop to one-stop

How do you convince people to visit a convenience store inside a gas station? By sparking curiosity, speaking their language, and proving it’s more than just fuel.
The Goal
Increase in-store traffic and transactions at Agora Stores by shifting consumer perception from a basic pit stop to a surprising, value-packed retail destination.
The Challenge
Agora Stores, AVIN’s in-station retail concept, had strong margin potential but low appeal.
Many customers saw station shops as overpriced and purely transactional.
To win them over, we needed to change perceptions, highlight the variety of products, and compete not just with other oil giants but also with established retail brands - all without the benefit of point-of-sale data.
Our Solution
We built a full-funnel digital campaign around one bold, modular concept: “You’ll find everything from ___ to ___.”
This playful line became the campaign’s creative engine, letting us highlight the surprising range of products - from motor oil to potato chips, from gas to gum, from wipers to diapers. The unexpected pairings sparked curiosity and reframed the store as a destination rather than an afterthought.
Each month, we spotlighted new categories aligned with seasonality and business goals. With dual targeting, we reached both loyal customers and new high-intent audiences, while always-on content kept the message fresh and adaptable.
